Rates & Policies
Deposit- A
$500.00 non-refundable* is required at the time of reservation
to secure the agreed upon date.
Room Rates-
Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the room fee is $250.00
with the minimum guarantee of 25 meals. Friday and Saturday evening
ballroom rates are as follows: $500.00 with a minimum of 100 dinners
guaranteed. Weekend ballroom times are 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
and 6:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.*. Sundays are $200.00 for any booking
time.
Bar Service-
Grandeur Sun cash bars are allowed for 4 hours with one bartender
with no additional charge if guarantee is over 100. A bartender
fee of $50.00 will apply for each additional bartender. We require
a minimum of bar sales to be $250.00.
Booking Procedure-
Grandeur Sun must be notified of the exact number of guests attending
functions one week prior to the event, this number will be considered
your guarantee and may not be reduced at this time. If we do not
receive a guarantee one week prior we will assume the guarantee
is the original number given at booking. The guarantee is the
established number you will be billed for by Grandeur Sun. We
will set-up and prepare for 5% above the guaranteed number of
guests for all functions. All Final payments are due 72 hours
prior to your event.
All rooms
have booking meal minimums. Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
the minimum is 25 meals. Friday evenings and Saturday Ballroom
is 100 meals.
Food and Beverage
Policy- All federal, state and local laws pertaining to food and
beverage purchases or consumption are strictly adhered to. All
food and beverages must be purchased from Grandeur Sun by prearrangement
with our catering department. No food or beverage of any kind,
with the exception of wedding cakes may be brought into Grandeur
Sun. Leftover food and beverages may not be taken from the premise
due to state health regulations. All alcoholic beverages must
be served by a Grandeur Sun staff member and consumed on our premise
in our ballroom. Open beverage containers or glasses may not be
taken out of the ballroom.
NO Alcoholic
beverages will be served to persons under the age of 21. Grandeur
Sun reserves the right to discontinue service of alcoholic beverages
to any group or individual guest should Grandeur Sun personnel
determine that to continue service would not be in the best interests
of the guests or the facility.
Cancellation
Policy- If in the event you should have to cancel a scheduled
function the room deposit will be non-refundable*. If an event
is cancelled within less than 30 days to the event you will be
assessed charges as follows: less than 21-8 days prior we will
charge 25% of guarantee. 7-3 days 50% of your guarantee and within
48 hours 100% of your contracted or expected bill will be charged.
Decorating-
Grandeur Sun does not allow anything to be affixed to the walls,
floors, ceilings, or room furnishings with nails, staples, or
any other damaged substances. The use of confetti, glitter, rice,
bird seed and etc is not permitted; a $50.00 clean up fee will
apply.
Smoking Policy-
Grandeur Sun is a non-smoking facility. Smoking will not be permitted
outside the buildings front entrance. Smoking areas for your convenience
will be designated to the side of the building.
Closing- All
bands and entertainment must finish their last set 12:30 a.m.
& Last call will be given at 12:30 a.m. Grandeur Sun reserves
the right to control all functions held on our premises and to
discontinue service of alcoholic beverages at any time if in the
judgment of Grandeur Sun management.
